内容:
SOC 1010 is a course that provides an introduction to sociology, a fundamental discipline in the social sciences. Through lecture, class discussion, writing assignments or projects, 小测验 and 考试, 学生将使用社会学理论和观点来研究不同的社会主题和社会问题. Texts will vary depending on instructor preference. A textbook example would be "社会学" by OpenStax, a free online resource.

Additional readings and primary sources will vary on instructor preference. An example would be The Nature of Social Science by George C. Homans.
